Distinguish three states
Google provides controls for related files downloaded together. A second transfer that never starts differs from one that fails in progress; a dangerous-file warning is another category. Record the download-list state before attributing it to VPN loss.
Test the trusted site with a small batch
- Record the domain, expected count and saved count. Check whether the site intentionally provides one archive.
- In desktop Chrome inspect Site Settings, Additional permissions, Automatic downloads; search settings if menu labels differ.
- Allow related downloads only for the trusted target when necessary, not every website.
- Keep the route and network fixed and compare two small nonsensitive files, noting prompts and download states.
- Remove permission when no longer needed. If a started transfer fails, investigate the transfer error without bypassing security warnings.
What the comparison establishes
Starting both files after permission changes points to browser policy, not validation of every route or file. Site export failures need site support. No third-party export test or Yunbao control of Chrome permissions is claimed.
