Identify access-bearing content
Treat token-bearing links and private profiles as sensitive instead of posting them publicly for troubleshooting. Windows offers clipboard history and cross-device sync; inspect your own settings rather than assuming every copy was uploaded.
Review items without exposing screenshots
- Open Win+V privately. If history is off, do not enable it merely for this check.
- Delete sensitive entries through their menu and check pinned items; copying a harmless word does not erase history.
- Inspect Settings, System, Clipboard for cross-device sync and the account. Disable unneeded sync if appropriate; ask IT on managed PCs.
- For bulk clearing read the scope and then review pinned items, which Microsoft says are retained.
- If a link was shared publicly, deleting history does not revoke access. Use the provider’s official credential-replacement process without reposting the link.
Limits of clearing history
This check neither proves malware nor removes copies held by recipients, websites or other clipboard tools. No Yunbao configuration-import or auto-cleanup feature is claimed; follow the actual service guidance.
