Identify the mode and affected app

Google Pixel documents restrictions on most background mobile data in Data Saver and a per-app unrestricted-data control. Other Android menus may differ. This is a system setting, not a Yunbao feature promise.

Compare while keeping the screen on

1. Note Data Saver state, the affected app and network without also changing battery or DNS settings.
2. Use a small non-sensitive task to compare foreground use with app switching, keeping the screen on and route fixed.
3. If Data Saver is enabled, find unrestricted data for the affected app and temporarily adjust only that app when needed.
4. Restore the original restriction and compare again. If there is no improvement, retain the original setting and investigate the task, network and app exit separately.
5. Testing uses mobile data; keep tasks small for your plan rather than granting every app unrestricted access.

Limits of the result

Background-only failure that changes with a restriction is a clue about app data access, not a route performance test. Record both Yunbao connection state and actual task completion; connected does not mean the task finished.
