Separate alerts from page loading
Chrome manages notifications separately from popups. Private browsing does not receive notifications, and a site may need permission again. Similar domain names are not the same permission target. If the page itself fails, investigate connectivity first.
Inspect the trusted target only
- Record the exact URL, normal or private window, browser version and event time without meeting secrets.
- Check the domain under desktop Chrome Settings, Privacy and security, Site Settings, Notifications, or inspect site information beside the address.
- Allow only that trusted domain if you need its alerts. Do not allow unrelated sites or override warnings about deceptive sources.
- Keep the route fixed and use the site’s test alert or one normal event. Also check whether the operating system silences Chrome notifications.
- If permission is allowed but alerts remain absent, inspect account notification settings and confirm the event occurred. Send observations to site support before erasing browser data.
Interpret the result
An alert after a permission change points to permission or display state, not complete VPN validation. Delayed alerts do not by themselves establish a disconnected site. No third-party push support or Yunbao notification-management feature is promised.
