First: check the local connection
- Disconnect the VPN temporarily and open a normally available page on the same device.
- If direct access also fails, check Wi-Fi, mobile connectivity or network sign-in.
- Record differences between Wi-Fi and mobile data, changing one condition at a time.
Second: separate route and website issues
Reconnect and compare two destinations. If only one fails, record whether it times out, rejects access or has a sign-in problem rather than assuming the entire VPN failed. If route selection is available, repeat the same test on another route. A region label is not a guarantee.
Third: check coverage and conflicts
Check whether the current mode covers the affected app; names and coverage vary by client. Multiple VPN or proxy tools may affect results, so use one connection tool during comparison. Stop and verify the destination when certificate warnings appear instead of disabling verification.
How to report the issue
Provide operating system, app version, network type, time, route, error and direct-versus-connected observations. Hide account, payment and verification details in screenshots. Do not post full logs, passwords or subscription credentials publicly.
