Before Reinstalling an iPhone VPN: Offload, Delete and Preparation

Deleting a client immediately after an error can remove access to account details and useful evidence. Check recoverability before reinstalling instead of treating it as the first fix for every connection issue.

Offload and Delete have different effects

Apple distinguishes Offload, which retains documents and data, from Delete, which removes the app and related data. Account and membership recovery depends on the service rules, not that system option alone.

Confirm recovery before removal

  1. Privately note account identifier, client version and error text without publishing passwords or codes.
  2. Confirm you know the sign-in method and can access verification channels; ask through the existing website contact entry if uncertain.
  3. Open the official iOS download guide and confirm store and account access before removing the installed app.
  4. If support specifically recommends reinstalling, identify Offload versus Delete and understand the impact before taking that action.
  5. After reinstalling, sign in and inspect the actual account and membership display. For recovery issues, contact official support with redacted proof of purchase rather than paying again as a test.

Preserve diagnostic evidence

A successful connection after reinstalling does not identify the cause. Compare the same network, route and errors before and after. This guide does not claim Yunbao offers automatic cloud backup, local-data migration or guaranteed membership recovery.
